It was a milestone game for University of North Dakota men’s basketball players Adam McDermott and Quinton Hooker on Thursday night in Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. McDermott scored a career high 28 points, including eight three-pointers, and Hooker registered the first triple-double in UND’s Division I history — 13 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists — as the Fighting Hawks rolled over Big Sky Conference opponent Idaho State 76-60. UND’S Drick Bernstine also became the first player to record six double-doubles in a season in team’s DI history. Bernstine had 12 points and 14 rebounds. Idaho State was led by Ethan Telfair’s 13 points. UND (11-10 overall, 6-4 BSC) climbed over Idaho State (10-11, 5-4) in the league standings with the victory.
