RUSS HONS: Photo Gallery — University of North Dakota Vs. University Of Nebraska-Omaha

The University of North Dakota men’s hockey team once again came up short in overtime, dropping a 5-4 National Collegiate Hockey Conference decision to the University of Nebraska-Omaha on Friday night in Ralph Engelstad Arena. The Fighting Hawks (14-6-1 overall, 5-4-0 NCHC) blew three leads in the game to the Mavericks (11-6-2 overall, 4-4-1 NCHC) before dropping their fourth straight in overtime. Owen McLaughlin, Reese Gaber, Jackson Blake and Ben Strinden scored goals for UND, while Zach Urdahl, Brock Bremer, Matt Miller, Ty Mueller and Jack Randl scored for UNO. UND goaltender Ludvig Persson had 19 saves, while his UNO counterpart Simon Latkoczy stopped 35 shots. The two teams meet again tonight. (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
