LILLIAN CROOK: WildDakotaWoman — Summer Solstice in the Badlands (& Elsewhere)

Spent a lot of years in a classroom or office, sometimes with no window. Have attempted to spend as much of the Summer Solstice outdoors. Here’s to more trips around the sun!

I SIMPLY say, lovely memories and lovely shots–as a White Horse Anglo Saxon savage I can only say I love the whole solstice story, yourn, and the Celts–I am a Doggerlander–“spend a strange and cool Soltice morning/ in the Park with a tall row of ancient cottonwoods/ as holy as any arrangement of standing stones/here in the crooks of the meandering river/of the land that has adopted me/I marvel at the silence in the middle of a crazed and hammering world”–thanks for your story
