RUSS HONS: Photo Gallery — University Of North Dakota Vs. University Of Minnesota-Duluth

The University of North Dakota men’s hockey team dropped a defensive battle against the University of Minnesota-Duluth on Saturday night in Ralph Engelstad Arena, falling 3-2 after a 4-0 National Collegiate Hockey Conference win against the No. 3 Bulldogs on Friday night. The Bulldogs (19-9-2 overall, 12-7-1 NCHC) took advantage of UND penalties, scoring twice 5-on-3 power plays, both goals coming from Peter Krieger. Jade Miller scored the other UMD goal. Gavin Hain and Tucker Poolman scored for the Fighting Hawks (15-14-2 overall, 9-10-1 NCHC). In goal, both UND’s Andrew Thome and UMD’s Hunter Shepard had 14 saves. The Fighting Hawks play at Colorado College next weekend. (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
