Goals by Rhett Gardner, Coltyn Sander and Paul LaDue (empty net) sealed the win for North Dakota (32-6-4) over the Wolverines (25-8-5), whose season ended with the loss. Drake Caggiula and Luke Johnson scored UND’s other goals. J.T. Compeer scored both Michigan goals. Fighting Sioux goalie Cam Johnson, who was named to the all-tournament team along with Caggiula, Luke Johnson and Tucker Poolman, made 25 saves, while Steve Racine stopped 44 for Michigan.
