RUSS HONS: Photo Gallery — University of North Dakota Vs. Western Illinois University, December 8, 2015

The University of North Dakota women’s basketball team held Western Illinois University to less than 75 points for the first time this season en route to a 78-67 victory Tuesday night in the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. UND, 3-5 on the season, was paced by junior Makailah Dyer, who led all scorers with 21 points. Senior Mia Lloyd added 13 points and 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. Sophie Reichelt led WIU (6-4) in scoring with 17 points, while Taylor McClintock added 11 points and Taylor Higginbotham scored 10. UND senior Kelsey Knox  had a career-high-tying seven rebounds, six points, two steals and an assist. The Fighting Hawks return to action at 2 p.m. Saturday when they host North Dakota State University. Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.
