The University of North Dakota women’s volleyball team extended its winning streak to five with a 25-17, 25-11, 25-12 win Thursday night over Montana State in Big Sky Conference play in Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. The Fighting Hawks were led by junior Julia Kaczorowska, who had 13 kills on just 22 swings without an error. Tamara Merseli and Ashley Brueggeman each added eight kills, while Sydney Griffin chipped in 35 assists in the sweep. The victory over the Bobcats (4-12 overall, 2-5 BSC) kept UND (15-8, 6-1) atop the league’s North Division.
