UND was dealt their first loss of the season Friday night at home against Wisconsin, despite the early lead goal by Luke Johnson. The Badgers responded with three unanswered scores by Corbin McGuire, Luke Kunin and Jedd Soleway. Wisconsin goalie Matt Jurusik had 29 saves, North Dakota’s Matt Hrynkiw had 20.

The UND women’s hockey team’s season ended Saturday with a heartbreaking 4-1 loss to Wisconsin in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Final Faceoff seminfinals in Ralph Engelstad Arena. UND, which ended its season with a 22-12-3 record, was mathematically eliminated from an at-large bid for the NCAA Tournament.
