RUSS HONS: Photo Gallery — University Of North Dakota Vs. Drake University

The University of North Dakota cruised to a 47-7 win over Drake University in Saturday’s season opener in the Alerus Center. Three Fighting Hawks quarterbacks combined for 295 yards as UND racked up 431 total offensive yards. Starting quarterback Nate Ketteringam led the way with a 19-for-25 performance good for 152 yards and a passing touchdown before leaving with an undisclosed injury early in the second half. His backups, Andrew Zimmerman and Noah Grover, filled in, with Zimmerman throwing two touchdown passes. UND’s Noah Wanzek led all receivers with nine catches for 86 yards and a touchdown, while Dalton Gee rushed for 64 yards on eight carries and a touchdown for the Fighting Hawks. UND returns to action Saturday when it travels to Fargo to play North Dakota State University in the Fargodome. (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
