RUSS HONS: Photo Gallery — Grand Forks Central Vs. West Fargo

Grand Forks Central’s boys hockey team set the record for most consecutive wins in North Dakota boys hockey (35) with its 8-0 win over West Fargo on Tuesday night in Purpur Arena in Grand Forks. The previous record was held by Central’s 1974 team. Will Howard led the way for the Knights with a hat trick. Parker Stroh chipped in two goals for Central, which is now 18-0 overall and 14-0 in the Eastern Dakota Conference. Cole Wigestrand, Joey Kennelly and Lucas Kanta each scored one goal for Central. Aaron Nielson had eight saves in goal for the Knights, while Gabe Pederson stopped 41 shots for the Packers (8-12 overall, 8-7 EDC). (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
