RUSS HONS: Photo Gallery — University Of North Dakota Vs. Western Carolina University And Louisiana Tech University

The University of North Dakota women’s volleyball team swept Western Carolina University (25-19, 25-19, 25-16) and Louisiana Tech University (25-17, 25-16, 25-17) on Saturday to clinch the title of the UND Classic, its sixth championship since 2011. Eastern Washington, Western Carolina and Louisiana Tech will each all play at least one match today to determine the final placings of the teams. UND (4-3) was led in the WCU match by Kayla Williams, who had a game-high 11 kills. She added six digs, two service aces and a block. Ashley Brueggeman chipped in 10 kills, while Aliva Fraase collected 18 digs and Roosa Ratio had 32 assists. In the Louisiana Tech match, Williams again lead the way with nine kills. Jordan Vail and Bryn Nieukirk each added eight and Brueggeman six. Defensively, Fraase again led the way with 14 digs, and Rautio and Williams each added 10. Fraase also collected 32 helpers for her third double-double of the season. (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
