“General Sherman” in Sequoia National Park. That’s my daughter, Kristi. Its name is an interesting tribute to my favorite Yankee general from the Civil War. This Sequoia tree is 275 feet tall, 36 feet in diameter, and by volume the largest single tree on earth. It’s 2,000 years old, but not the oldest. Sequoias have been found that are more than 3,000 years old,
