RUSS HONS: Photo Gallery — University Of North Dakota Vs. Northern Colorado University

The University of North Dakota football team picked up its sixth win of the season with a 45-38 victory over Northern Colorado on Saturday afternoon in the Alerus Center. Quarterback Nate Ketteringham was 26 for 37 passing with two touchdown tosses and one rushing score. His favorite receiver, Noah Wanzek, caught nine of those passes for 125 yards and a touchdown. Garret Maag also had four catches for 64 yards and a touchdown for the Fighting Hawks (6-4). Cam McKinney led UND rushers with 105 yards on six carries and a touchdown. James Johannesson chipped in 51 yards on the ground and one touchdown. Brady Leach had a 43-yard field goal and Kadon Kauppinen recovered a block punt in the end zone to round out UND’s scoring. On defense, Donnell Rodgers had 13 tackles to lead all players. UNC quarterback Jacob Knipp was 27 for 45 and 393 yards passing with three touchdowns. Milo Hall led UNC rushers with 80 yards on 21 carries and two touchdowns. The Bears fell to 2-9 with the loss. UND ends regular-season play next Saturday, hosting Southern Utah University.
