Nate Ketteringham threw three touchdown passes and Brady Leach kicked a career-long 46-yard field goal with less than a minute left in the game to lift the University of North Dakota to a 38-36 Homecoming victory over No. 12 University of California-Davis on Saturday afternoon in the Alerus Center. The Fighting Hawks (3-2) were  paced on the ground by James Johannesson who ran for 87 yards and a touchdown. Garret Maag, Brock Boltman and Alex Cloyd caught touchdown passes in the win. UC Davis dropped to 2-4 overall and 0-2 in the Big Sky Conference. UND travels next week to play at Idaho State. (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
