The first-place University of South Dakota women’s basketball team lived up to its standing with a 80-50 Summit League win over the University of North Dakota on Thursday night in Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. The Fighting Hawks (8-13 overall, 3-5 Summit), were led by Lexi Klabo and Jill Morton, who each scored 10 points, and Mikayla Reinke, who pulled down 10 rebounds. The Coyotes (18-3 overall, 6-1 Summit), led by Hannah Sjerven, who scored 16 points. UND returns to play Feb. 1 at Western Illinois. (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
