RUSS HONS: Photo Gallery — University Of North Dakota vs. Weber State University

The University of North Dakota men’s basketball team, behind strong performances from Gino Crandall and Quinton Hooker, scored a come-from-behind 83-77 win over Weber State University on Thursday night in Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. Crandall scored career-high 33 points and Hooker added 22 to lead the Fighting Hawks to the Big Sky Conference victory over the the Wildcats (9-7, 4-1 BSC), who who were previously unbeaten in league play. UND (10-7, 5-2 BSC) also snapped the Wildcats’ seven-game winning streak. Crandall also had four assists and three steals, both game highs. Hooker had six rebounds for the Fighting Hawks, and Drick Bernstine led all players with nine rebounds and eight points. The Wildcats were led by All-Big Sky first teamer Jeremy Senglin, who scored 24 points. UND returns to play Saturday when it hosts Idaho State. (Check out more photos from Russ Hons here.)
